I need a way to duplicate layers. i already saw a forum answer that said to have one frame and press R. i tried that but when i modified the second frame it changed the first frame too. so it wasn’t two separate layers it was one long layer. i need a way to duplicate it without changing the first drawing

Select the frame in the timeline you would like to make a separate drawing…
Right click that drawing, choose “Duplicate Drawing” from the contextual menu…
Be aware, all drawings after that frame will be the same…
Apply the same command further down the timeline to create another new drawing…
