Does Animate run significantly better with more cores?

Hello, I plan on building a new PC soon, however I’m torn between getting a CPU with 4 cores or 6 cores or waiting for the AMD Bulldozer with 8 cores.

What benefits are there for having more cores in ToonBoom Animate? And what will Animate 3 most likely add?
