display bugs out ...

Hello, I really like Toon Boom. Every now and then my display window that shows the preview of of animation (above the time line in camera mode) will start showing vector shapes. I have to shut TB down and come back in to get rid of it (if not I restart TB again until it does). At first I thought that I might have the camera too close to the drawings, but I don’t think thats the problem.

OS: XP (OS up2date with dual core updates as well)
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache
Motherboard: Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe
Video: BFG GeForce 7950GT 512MB (One card, not using SLI)
Ram: Kingston 2GB
Sound: Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Gamer

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It happened again so I took a video of it using CamStudio.

I posted it here:

Hi Zim,

Answered by e-mail but this might be interesting for others. This issue is related to the renderer used not being properly supported. You should be able to avoid these kind of artifacts by going in the Edit>Preferences>Display tab and change the renderer to OpenGL or Direct3D (depending on which is currently active). Else then that it might be a good idea to update your video card drivers.

Best regards,

Ugo
