Deformation to Drawings


I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how to convert the deformation applied to a drawing, to an actual drawing. During character set up this wold be very handy with the design I’m working on at the moment but there doesn’t seem to be an intuitive way of doing it. Also double deformation layers doesn’t seem to work.


Deformation is a special effect that results in a bitmap (raster) image.
Just render out the image and re-import it into the project.

I’m not sure what you mean by “double deformation layers”.

I bet ‘double layers’ mean kind of a hierarchie and you’re right, it doesn’t work this manner.

What I do, I put the concerned dwg on top of lever, I apply the needed deform, I take back the deform module and bring it back to its proper level, and it works good.
