It seems other people are having issues with shortcuts not switching from their default keys. Actually, the customization works on the overridable shortcuts sometimes, while other times it doesn’t and for no apparent reason. I have read some of the other posts and the moderator has suggested that we try and get used to the overridable shortcuts, or get used to holding down the alt button. I have nothing against the overridable shortcuts for some uses, but for others it is very inconvenient. For example, I am very used to pressing the v key alone for the select tool.
However, whether or not the default shortcuts are better is beside the point. The program we paid for is supposed to allow customization of shortcuts and it is not working. Is something going to be done about this?
Well it’s certainly something that we can take a look at.
