Command Prompt like window launch when I launch Harmony Essentials

HI,
I think if am remembering correctly when I just installed Harmony Essentials every time I opened it only the welcome screen showed up. However now a days a second command Prompt like window opens up and stays open. It is not a big issue all the time but I realize if you make mistake and close it it will close the software with out giving a save warning. How do I get rid of this window?

This can happen if you mess with the startup options to remove the wstart.exe in the startup line of the shortcut.

You can replace the target of the shortcut with this to get the normal default behavior back:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Harmony 12 Essentials\win64\bin\wstart.exe” StageEssentials.exe

If that doesn’t fix it try uninstalling/re-installing
