Changing one frame effects every frame

I know this is already been asked some where but I couldn’t find the answer I was looking for.

I’m trying to make my character blink starting on frame 5, so when I draw the eye lids coming down in this frame it happens on every frame before and after.

I’ve tried adding key frames to the ones that are being changed but this doesn’t help.

Someone please help this is very frustrating.

Do what the other guy said, then use the “cells” window to switch between the images.
