I only ever use about 3 colors in my animations so importing the same palette into every single project I start is more time consuming than I would like. Is there any way to set whichever palette I want to be default?
Found it.
Go to: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Animate 2\etc”
(or wherever you have it installed. The etc folder is the destination).
Find the palette you want to be the default and copy it to this folder. BACKUP THE ORIGINAL “default_palette_anim.plt” delete it and rename the copied palette to “default_palette_anim.plt”. You can now use your preferred default.
