Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the background color in camera view or if this is even possible. By default, it is white. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
You can change the background drawing view color from Preferences>Interface tab.
If you want to change the background color of camera even in output, in scene properties by enabling Scene manager from Windows>Scene Manager, right click of the scene to access to the properties of the scene and change the background color.
Thank you. I have tried this and it works.
Preferences / Global UI?
It looks like the interface has changed since your post. I’m trying to change my backgrounds to black an can not find the preference. Any clues?
Thanks B
What version are you using?
I only have my purchased 7.1 available to me. The 8 trial expired so I am referring to the 8 User Guide and my copy of 7.1.
If 7 open Scene Manager and right-click of the scene listed. You will see the options to select Properties which opens up Scene Properties window (not to be confused with the general Properties window). Click on the swatch to change the current color. See page 40 in the User Guide.
If 8 the background color is accessed through the Properties window of the Scene Manager. See page 515 of the User Guide.
