Can't see line as I draw

I download Toon Boom Studio 6.0 Trial and while drawing I can’t see the line until i pick up the pen or unclick the mouse. Is it supposed to be like this or is there a way I can change it to see the line as I’m drawing? Also while using the paintbrush when I go to draw the screen goes black, but when I change to the pencil it doesn’t go black. Could this just be the way the trial works or what?

This may happen because of how your graphic card is handling OpenGL.
You can try the following:

From the top menu of TBS, go to Edit on Windows or Toon Boom Studio on Mac, then go to Preferences > Display and change the render type. It is a common problem but normally fixed by finding the TBS render setting that works best for your specific system configuration -JK

That was the answer I needed, thank you for your help.

I’m having also the same problem, but I’m using Animate Pro 2.0, and in the preferences there is no display tab. Can you help me?

Animate Pro display issues should be sent to support@toonboom.com with mention of OS, processor type and graphic card model.
