Can't save project under save as?

I have to rename my work each day as a new version to upload on the productions ftp sight. When I go to save as … the spinning wheel (mac osx maverick) goes on forever. Under force quit it says in red … storyboard pro not responding. I need to save this and I can’t. I’m on SP 4.0.1.

Please help!!!

This could be due to lot of things. Where are you trying to “save as” to?

Why not use the Backup Storyboard… command?
It makes a backup of your entire project in one go.
It is safer, faster and more robust than relying on “save as”
