Can't import vector art into Non-Pro version

According to the feature chart, the standard version of Storyboard can import ‘industry standard vector formats’. I cannot find any way to import vectors from the menu. Only images seem to be supported. Not .ai files.

You can import .ai files through the Library. Check out Import Images on page 63 of the User Guide.
