I purchased Toon Boom essentials and am watching tutorials and I’m noticing that I can’t find some of the tools they are using. For example the pivot tool is nowhere to be found. Is the essential version missing a lot of components or am I just not finding them?

If you mean the tools to change the pivot point then right click where you want them to be and choose Advanced animation.

There is no Pivot Tool per se in the Essentials version but you can use
the Rotation tool from the “Advanced Animation” toolbar to move it as
was partially suggested by Vassilis above.
