Can I keyframe and Audio layer

I need to keyframe the volume on and off.

(Im using Essentials)

You can’t keyframe turning the audio on or off but you can enter the Sound Element Editor and
click on the “Sound Element” part of the window to bring the track to the “Current Sound”
part of the window where you can click to make control points for the volume level.

This will allow you to make sections of the audio track louder, softer or even silent.
