Camera half grayed out in 3D scene

I have a 3D environment in a scene, and when I add a drawing and move it into place, half of the camera gets grayed out in Open GL view. The render view appears normal, but on both views, I can’t get the drawing to go behind to go behind 3D objects, no matter where i move it in 3D space. I’ve made all of this work before, but is it possible that my 3D background is too complex? I’m on harmony 12, with an FBX background in Windows 7.
