I’ve been getting a very annoying bug with Toon Boom Harmony Essentials 12.2. Every last couple of times I’ve launched a scene file (launcher loads just fine), I get a KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE blue screen. I’ve also gotten a prompt about my preferences file being corrupted or lost a couple of times and that it will allow me to load the backup instead. I don’t know if this has anything to do with the problem, but I really have no idea at this point, especially since I don’t know how to read the minidump files. Anybody experience a similar situation?
Also, I just got the same problem after reinstalling the software. I deleted and uninstalled everything, reinstalled the latest version, and set up my preferences. Everything was working fine until I attempted to open Google Chrome, causing the same labeled blue screen.
[EDIT] I tried recreating the above scenario after switching Harmony’s process over to the dedicated GPU rather than the CPU. This seems to have solved this problem.
