PLYMPTON APPEARANCES UPDATE

Bill will once again be appearing at the San Diego Comic-Con,
July 14-17. Bill met so many fabulous fans in 2003 and 2004
that he’s decided to go for the third year in a row. We can’t say
exactly where Bill’s booth will be yet, so look for the big “Mutant
Aliens” posters. Bill will also be signing books at the NBM
booth on Friday from 5 to 7 pm, and on Saturday from 12
to 2. Also, watch for Bill’s short film “The Fan and the Flower"
in the Comic-Con Film Festival! Plus pick up some special
Plympton merchandise, and get it autographed!

NEW SHORT FILM - “THE FAN AND THE FLOWER"

Bill’s new short film, “The Fan and the Flower”, is now
appearing in film festivals around the world. The film is
about an ill-fated and unconsummated romance between
an electric ceiling fan and a flower, with a magical fairytale
ending. Based on a story by Dan O’Shannon, the narration
for the film features the voice of Paul Giamatti (Sideways,
American Splendor).

THE ANIMATION SHOW - 2005 PROGRAM

"Guard Dog” is still appearing in the line-up of the second
version of The Animation Show, a festival of shorts
that will be traveling around the country throughout 2005.
The collection is programmed by Mike Judge and Don
Hertzfeldt, and also features such fine films as
“Fireworks”, “Rock Fish”, “The Man with No Shadow”,
“Bunnies”, “Fallen”, “When the Day Breaks”, “Ward 13”,
“The Man With No Shadow” and “The Meaning of Life”.
