Better PNG Support

Hi, most of the backgrounds I use in Animate are usually multiple layered PNG files and Toonboom isn’t very pleasant to work with when drawing over.

Let me explain; when I’m drawing over a png, the ‘transparent’ part is shown as white, which makes the eye strain and tired.

But, when the shot is rendered, it actually shows that the background is not white, but blank, appearing as black in this case

So what I have been doing is making the background transparent, which is kind of annoying since I have to make a effects layer so it would be easier to draw on. Nonetheless, when using the lasso tool, the blank background toggles from black to white, again, annoying.

So what I would suggest is making the blank part of the png actually blank, not appearing white when drawing over and appearing black when using the lasso tool.

Thanks!
