Hello !
I just start withAnimate and I was surprised by the background default colour when I made a render … the background was black ! Is it normal ? In toonBoom Studio it was white. Is there any preference I didn’t find to change it ?

You need to add a “Colour-Card” layer if you just want a simple background.
Click on the “+” button on the timeline and select Colour-Card, or on the menu bar go to Insert>Effects>Colour-Card.
This really surprised me too when I first started with Animate (coming from TBStudio.)
