I got a new mac computer and after downloading from toonboom.com ToonBoom Animate I clicked on disk image file which begins installing toonboom. once finished it allows me to drag and drop to applications however when i try to open I receive a message which states:
“Animate” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to trash.
I have downloaded it several times from the website to no avail.
What is going on?
11 views and not one person has an idea? awe man

I believe this is a security setting under System Preferences, you have to allow all applications to be opened (not a Mac user, but I have seen this same solution provided for the same warning when trying to open a downloaded app).
You can always contact support@toonboom.com for any technical issues like this that you run across.
If you’re using Mountain Lion, make sure you follow these instructions:
http://download.toonboom.com/files/pdf/mac/mountain-lion/Toon%20Boom%20on%20Mountain%20Lion%20OS.pdf
The instructions can be found under the system specs in the Features part of the product page on the website.
