Animate don't starts on 10.5.8

I have problem with Animate on my Mac G5 2.7 DP with Leopard 10.5.8. Program don’t starts only blinks an icon in the dock and giving me a crash report:

I installed 10.5.8 combo update, fixed permissions on the disk, download Animate again - nothing helped. On other user accounts is the same situation.
I never have account named richard.

is it a power pc?
according to the system requirements animate runs only on intel processors:

Something change? in info palet is Universal and I’m almost sure I was running Animate on PPC previously…
it seems that I will have to wait for the MBP back from service

First double-check to make sure that your computer meets the system requirements.

If you continue to have crashing problems you should email your crash to support and they can look into it further.

I have just encountered this same problem myself. Please post how this issue may be fixed when you find out anything. Everything has been running smoothly until now.
