Animate and Animate Pro, some info please!

Hey guys.

I’ve been animating for a year now and have been using a trial of Toon Boom Animate. I’m thinking of taking the plunge and purchasing the software. I’m a hobbyist animator and have been using Anime Studio Pro but looking for a product where I can do more traditional animation. What’s the difference between Toon Boom Animate and Animate Pro? what features are missing etc?

Any info will be appreciated!

the biggest feature you are missing when you don’t have pro is network view which is an incredibly powerful way of managing complex scenes, plus a whole host of effects in general.

You can try the ple for both to get a feel.

My recommendation would be get Animate and cross grade to pro if you find yourself wanting pro only features.
