Harmony provides all the tools to create characters and animate them, but when you need to make scalable vector promotional art afterwards, you can’t export the characters you made to any vector format that you can edit externally. Opentoonz can export to SVG and it’s a very useful feature.
Looking for information I found that people have been asking Toon Boom for this feature for at least 10 years, I’m not the only one who needs this feature.
the only vector export I know is through pdf format with no opacity and gradient. Just make sure in the composite nodes settings “bitmap” is changed to “vector” before exporting pdf format.
But hey, you can try Affinity designer, its an AI alternative for good price and its pretty good for vector art
