Hey all.

I’ve spent the last few days researching animation software and watching countless video. I believe Toon Boom animate2 is the one for me.

I’m a fourth grade teacher and I am trying to get some information on the academic version.

Is it the same full version as the product for sale here on the toon boom website?

Hi Jake,

I’m no expert on this topic but I suspect toon boom does academic discounts which means you get the same software but slightly cheaper than someone like my self could purchase.

I would give toonboom a call to confirm this is the case

Best to contact support for a deal in relation to educational product.

While it is the same software, you won’t be able to use it for commerial products (that my understanding of how educational software works).
