Who has a good idea of what the average starting pay at entry level (1-2yrs experience) for these two positions is? What is the norm salary?

I remember seeing this book in my school’s library. I was looking for a rough cut answer though. A number you would casually chit chat with someone about.
Salaries depend on where you are. Canadian and American salaries are different. Flash animators may make less. European animators still less.
Some markets pay by footage, others by hours.
Check with the animation guild 839 and see if you can locate their contracts for an industry wide average.
